FINALISTS: 2021 Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia Awards
We are excited to announce that we have been shortlisted as finalists for the 2021 Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia (KCA) Awards in the Best Industry Collaboration category.
If you have been following our journey over the past four years you would know that a key part of our success so far has been the close collaboration between RMIT University, Sleepeezee Bedding Australia and us.
While our team consists of people from incredibly diverse backgrounds, skillsets, and outlooks, every single person approached the project from a position of mutual understanding and respect regarding each partnersβ focus and work.
The successful development of REMi β our world-first non-invasive aged care resident monitoring and alert system is a testament to the success of this collaboration, to the culture of the organisations involved, and more importantly the people that worked on it together.
We are a close and tight-knit team, and regardless of the outcomes of the award we are so proud to be recognised as a successful example of how knowledge transfer can result in research translation with real-world applications and benefits.
The winner, as deemed by a panel of judges, will be announced on Thursday 9 September.
In the meantime, we are working harder than ever with some very exciting announcements coming up.
As always, stay tuned!
